Today's been a good day, Dear Reader!
I attended a Pamper/Shopping Event this evening. They can be hit or miss affairs, truth be told.
The mystery with an event is that you don't know what's going to happen. People can walk in to the room and come straight towards a Tarot Reader. Or avoid you as if you possess the plague in every pore of your skin.
Tonight was a hit! Which gives me many reasons to smile! :)
I met lovely women tonight, not just the ladies I read for, but also the ladies at the stalls, selling everything from gorgeous handbags to stunning jewellery to organic skincare products that left my skin feeling silky.
:) Women can bond over the most simplist things, sometimes the most serious.
Women talk you see. Not just gossip, tho we all do that, but talk. Actually communicate, with our hands, body language, eye contact and with our words.
For me, it's instinctive, and there's nothing that I wouldn't hide. There's no point in not being who you are through fear of being rejected.
That thought pattern did not get me anywhere.
I have learn't through time and experience that if someone can not accept who you are for what you are, they are not worth the effort you spend in trying to convince them how good you would be in their life. Would all that effort be beneficial to who you are?
No. But it was hard lesson to learn, and even now, I'm only just opening up completely about who I am, and being a Tarot Reader is part of that.
How could I tell a Client that they need to be honest with themselves when I couldn't do the same? Pot, kettle, black springs to mind.
Treat people how you liked to be treated, it was one of those lessons my parents drilled into from an early age, and it's true.
Honesty is key to all things, and tonight it proved itself. The women I met and interacted with tonight picked up on that, and reciprocated in their own way. It was lovely to experience, because not one of them had to give anything back.
So I left the event with a smile and a lovely energy buzz, and I'm going to go to bed with hopes for tomorrow.
Oh! Any ideas for this sunday's discussion??? Post your ideas please! ;) Thanks!
Jewel :) x
