I'm sure many of you are wondering why I'm writing about the month of May. May has a lot of energy surrounding it, and in numerology terms, is the fifth month of the year.
In numerology, the number five essentially means change. It is dynamic in that it holds an equal blend of masculine and feminine energies, by its very nature demanding of us all to shake things up.
Why, do you think, as we transcend through April to May, and throughout May, we have the need to spring clean? It's not only because spring has arrived and we need to shake off the winter blues and welcome the sun.
It is because we feel the need to change things, from decorating the bedroom walls, clearing away anything unnecessary, looking for a new job or career, to weeding the gardens. These things are represent the need to remove what no longer serves us like they once did to make room for the new.
Five can also bring with it upheaval if we choose to fight against this energy out of fear. Doubt and worry can work its way in, the disguises of fear, and stop us in its track. This is how the ego can take hold of us, and we can become stuck in massive ruts that we can't seem to find our way out of. This is when you may start to see the number '5' repeatedly. You may find five penny pieces in unusual locales. See phone numbers that end or begin with 5, or even 5's in a pattern.
These are all signs of the support that you have from your angels and guides that your need for change is a positive one for you. In angel numbers, five means "a significant change is occurring, always for the better."
This is the importance of May. We are all ready for change, and should embrace them fully, with happy hearts, knowing that love surrounds us, and that our lives will benefit from the energy that May brings to us.
